Walter V. Parenti, CLU, ChFC, RHU, REBC, LUTCF, is co-founder and President of Viti Financial. In 1986, Walter entered the insurance and financial services industry as an agent with one the country’s first mutually-held life insurance companies, National Life Insurance Company, founded in Montpelier, VT in 1848.
In his current role, Walter works in the areas of life insurance, health insurance, employee benefits and investments*. As a trusted advisor, he acts to discover and meet the unique needs of individuals, business owners and professionals. Walter’s experience and continued education has led him to specialize in advanced areas of estate strategies, and retirement, business and financial planning.
Walter gained his Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication at Loyola University Chicago. Since then, he has earned copious professional designations including, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) and Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF).
Walter is a current Top of the Table Qualifier and Lifetime Member of Million Dollar Round Table. MDRT, the premier association of financial professionals, is an international, independent association exclusive to less than 1 percent of the world’s life insurance and financial services professionals from more than 80 nations.**
Despite his demanding career, Walter makes time to be involved with community organizations. He is a member and director of the Highwood Chamber of Commerce, where he has served as President. Walter is a long-time board member of the Highwood Recreation Center, and has performed volunteer work for organizations such as Rotary, School Age Child Care Fund and Spring Lake Sports.
Walter resides in Lincolnshire with his wife Maria and their four children. Outside of work, Walter takes great pleasure spending time with his family, coaching youth basketball and working out.
