HIGHWOOD, Illinois. – Friday, August 26th marks the 15^th Anniversary for Jayne McCraren with The Viti Companies. Jayne, a Senior Sales Assistant with the financial division, supports producers, clients and co-workers with her vast knowledge and impeccable service.  Over the years, Jayne has consistently demonstrated her dedication toward her clients and colleagues. Jayne’s enthusiasm, attentiveness and follow-through approach are evident in everything she undertakes. Jayne’s hard work coupled with her experience has enabled us to provide better service, value, and an added personal touch. In April 2010, Guy Viti Insurance Agency become the first Illinois insurance company to be awarded the Green Certified Business Certification.

• We hired a Certified Green Consultant to assist us in promoting a sustainable business (and life) style.
• We installed motion lights in all restrooms, general areas as well as frequently used offices. 
• Most of our lights are supplied with CF L lightbulbs that are highly energy efficient.
• Zoned heating with 90% efficiency in our furnaces.
• We offer to email policies, auto ID cards and other documents instead of mailing to limit paper waste and eliminate fuel usage.
• We separate our paper so what can be reused, will be reused.
• We recycle paper, plastic, cardboard as well as old computers, keyboards, mice and printers.
• We eliminated 80% of our small printers and swapped our large heavy-duty printers for 100% more efficient machines.
• Several of our employees walk, commute and drive fuel-efficient cars to work.
• Many of our insurance companies, in case of a loss or damage, offer to pay for a green consultant as well as give credit if the client repairs and/or replaces the damage with green materials.
